Not compatible with highly absorbent, non-clumping, loosely clumping, newspaper, or wood pellet litters.
Maximum filter size: up to 3 mm diameter, 10 mm length.
Recommended: fast-clumping, non-strip, granular litter like bentonite cat litter or mineral sand.

Will my cat actually use TailorTun automatic litter box?

Cats are naturally curious and will adapt. Some may take a few days. Tips:

Place old waste into the automatic litter box to help them recognize it.
Familiarize them by adding used cat litter first.
Position the TailorTun M1 in the same location as the old litter box.
Place cat treats at the entrance.
For switch cats, do manual cleaning for a few days before switching to auto mode.

Can kittens use TailorTun M1?

Kittens 2.2 lbs or more can use it in Automatic Cleaning mode.

Below 2.2 lbs: disable Automatic mode and enable Kitten Mode.

After use, wait 5 minutes for clumps to form before manually starting the cleaning process.

Can I use any type of bag in the waste drawer?

Yes, any bag that fits in the waste drawer.

How much cat litter can be added to reach the MAX line?

Add about 5–8 kg of cat litter. Keep level within the scale range (not below 50% or above 100%).

How often do I need to empty the waste bin?

Usually every 14 days for one cat. Status can be checked via the TailorTun app.

How does TailorTun M1 keep my cat safe?

5 pairs of infrared sensors and 4 weight sensors.

Sensors detect when a cat enters, stopping operation until the cat exits.

Will TailorTun M1 still work when the internet is disconnected?

Yes, it will continue to work based on your saved settings. Activities won’t update in the app until reconnection.

I have 3 senior cats aged 12–15 and needed one open enough for my largest cat who is 19 lbs. I didn’t want a closed automatic litter box as they don’t like enclosed spaces.
